Meet the Team

Professional hair stylist Kristan Sayers, co-owner of K Bella Hair Studio in trendy downtown Brighton Michigan, brings cutting edge professional hair care to her clients, through experience, education, and an artistic vision.

After graduating from Michigan State University in Textile Design, she attended Douglas J Aveda Institute where Kristan received numerous awards including the Beacon Award, which is awarded to only 50 of the top stylist students in the US, and the Aveda Institute award for her amazing makeup applications. After school she continued her education assisting for Jean Kania. Kristan opened K Bella in 2009 with business partner and amazing hairdresser, Kate Palma. Kristan's experience includes traveling the US as a platform artist with Neuma, educating hair stylists on proper color application and state of the art cutting techniques.

Her artistic talents include all aspects of hair, but Kristan specializes in precise hair cutting techniques and one-of-a-kind, color applications, and of course life saving color corrections. Her design aesthetic is edgy and innovative, and her ability to weave color through the hair is truly an art form. Whether you prefer a natural look, or a work of art that only you can dream up, Kristan will design and create a look that is unique to you.
