Meet the Team

Kate Palma has been a professional hairstylist for 32 years and she started her career in trendy Ann Arbor.  Her areas of expertise include studies and experience  with Redken, Paul Mitchell, Tony and Guy, Schwarzkopf, and more recently Alfaparf. Kate’s excellent reputation comes from her specialized talent in cutting and coloring. She introduced the “family of hair color concept”, and created a customized blend of colors, highlights and tones, through foiling to enhance the dimension and health of her client's hair.

Kate is also well known for her artistry with fine and thinning hair. In fact 75% of her clients have fine and thin hair and would never go any where else.  Kate has designed a specialized  technique that improves fine hair through a combination of  the right professional products, expertise with dimension, and an artistic eye.

After 13 years as a salon owner and master stylist, she combined her expertise and knowledge with Kristan Sayers to become the co-owner of K Bella Hair Studio in Brighton Michigan.  Kate’s unique talents start by considering the shape of the head, and unique facial features to create a style and look that is customized to perfection for everyone of her clients.
