Why do I need a heat protectant?
Everyone should always use a heat protectant to have a barrier between your hair and the heat of styling tools.
How long should I wait in between haircuts?
Short styles should be maintained no more than 4-5 weeks. All styles should be trimmed a minimum of every 6-8 weeks depending on the condition of your hair.
What is normal for daily hair shedding?
On average 100 to 200 hairs per day.
Why is my hair lacking shine?
In most cases store bought shampoos can be high in sulfates which strip the natural oils in the hair, leaving it dry and lacking luster. In addition, the waxes used in "shelf" products can build up and dull your hair.
How do I keep out the frizz when I wear my hair curly?
You would want to use a smoothing cream. This type of product is for all styles, it just smooths and protects and keeps frizz out.
What is the difference between a gel and a style clay for men?
A gel is going to be a wet look that you don't mess with throughout the day while a clay or paste can be manipulated over and over throughout the day.
Why does my hair feels sticky when it is wet and hard to comb!
You most likely need a Malibu treatment to take out the harsh mineral buildup from hard water and pools, or if your hair is very processed a Midollo Treatment which will add protein to the hair.
I colored my own hair and it is too dark!
Color does not remove color. You will need to make an appointment for a corrective color so we can safely remove the color, then we will color it the actual target color.
I want a perm/relaxer and color!
You will have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks between the two chemical services. The perm/relaxer can lighten your hair color! We do have a product that will color your hair the day of too, but only to go darker. Make a complimentary consultation to find out what would be the best for your situation.
I am allergic to ammonia, what can I do?
We have a product from Alfaparf Milano that is 98% botanicals, ammonia free, and covers gray. It makes hair shiny and silky soft, ask one of professionals to help you chose your favorite color.
I am losing my hair, what can I do?
We have amazing products that will give your scalp a healthy environment to live. Safe and gentle and price efficient you can keep that head of hair, so what are you waiting for, get in here!
